Swiss cheese training at home

Emmi Germany is continuing its online cheese workshop this autumn. In addition to the Kaltbach cheeses, this time the focus is also on Bettine goat's cheeses.

The Kaltbach digital cheese workshop has entered the next round. On 07 and 08 November 2023 the basic version of the popular workshop took place. During the approximately two-hour workshop, master cheese maker and trainer Caspar Greber went into the basics of cheese production, highlighted the special characteristics of Switzerland as a cheese country and presented the well-known Swiss cheeses. Naturally, he emphasised the special features of Kaltbach's cheese specialities.

New for all those who have already taken part in an Emmi cheese workshop in recent years: This time, the focus was on Bettine goat's cheese from the Netherlands. What characterises these fresh and soft cheeses? How do they differ from other cheeses? How is the Bettine range structured?

With the cheese workshop, Emmi Germany has set itself the goal of not only imparting cheese expertise and inspiring ideas, but also not neglecting enjoyment. To this end, all counter staff who registered for the free workshop were sent an extensive tasting pack of Kaltbach and Bettine cheeses in advance.
