Lefa is the new industry event for the Swiss food processing sector. It integrates the trade fair for the meat industry (formerly Mefa) and will be held as a special show parallel to Igeho 2023 in Basel. 

Among those involved with Mefa, the wish was expressed to expand the existing range for exhibitors and visitors with other food processing sectors and to combine forces. Market developments called for a representative and relevant industry platform. The newly formed Lefa complements Igeho perfectly with the value chain upstream of the food processing industry. At the same time, it will provide a future-oriented, sustainable Swiss B2B platform for catering suppliers.
