WHO WE ARE

 

Caseificio Ghidetti: A Family Tradition Since 1937

 

Located in Isola Rizza, Verona, Caseificio Ghidetti has been our family dairy since 1937. We proudly produce PDO cheeses such as Grana Padano, Parmigiano Reggiano, and Provolone Valpadana, alongside a variety of spun-paste and fresh cheeses, including provola, mozzarella fiordilatte, ricotta, and more.

 

OUR MILK: A SHORT SUPPLY CHAIN

Our cheeses are made using 100% fresh Italian milk, collected daily from 40 farms located no more than 20 km from our dairy. This proximity allows us to preserve the milk’s freshness and fragrance while ensuring full traceability, quality, and safety in every step of production.

 

OUR GREEN SOUL: WE GET ENERGY FROM THE SUN

Our company is equipped with a photovoltaic system that produces 690,000kWh / year of clean energy which is equal to over 227,000kg. less CO2 emitted into the atmosphere.

 

OUR COMMITMENT

We respect the environment and animal welfare to create delicious and 100% Italian cheeses. Our cows are free to move, raised in large sheds and with easy access to food. They are fed with vegetables GMO free fodders and bran to ensure their healthy and natural milk.

 

OUR QUALITY CERTIFICATIONS

The reliability and quality of Ghidetti products is constantly checked and certified: we are annually subjected to strict controls and certification approval tests, according to national and international standards.

FOOD SERVICE / HORECA

We daily deliver our wide range of Italian cheeses to food service wholesalers. Formats are tailored to the needs of our customers, considering the different kind of cheese: from the whole wheel to grated in tin for Grana Padano, to sliced and diced for Mozzarella or Provolone.

 

FOOD INDUSTRY

Our cheeses are chosen by our food manufacturing partners for the quality, as well as our ability to meet the stringent food safety and quality processes required by them.

 

RETAIL

We work worldwide with retailers of all shapes and sizes: from local farm shops, to major supermarkets up to e-commerce; we tailor our offer and our service to meet each retailers’ unique set of requirements.
