The new industry event for the Swiss food processing sector

Lefa is the new industry event for the Swiss food processing sector. It integrates the trade fair for the meat industry (formerly Mefa) and will be held as a special show parallel to Igeho 2023 in Basel.

Among those involved with Mefa, the wish was expressed to expand the existing range for exhibitors and visitors with other food processing sectors and to combine forces. Market developments called for a representative and relevant industry platform. The newly formed Lefa complements Igeho perfectly with the value chain upstream of the food processing industry. At the same time, it will provide a future-oriented, sustainable Swiss B2B platform for catering suppliers.

Lefa 2023 exhibition areas

The exhibitor offering will address industry professionals and decision makers from meat processing companies, bakeries, confectioneries, cheese and milk processing companies, beverage production and convenience food suppliers. Apart from food and machinery, it also focuses on supply chain management, logistics, safety and laboratory technology, as well as sustainability with sustainable packaging solutions, not forgetting the hot topic of digitalization.

The modular booths Igeho Special can be booked from 12 m², Elegant booths start at 18 m². If you’d like a larger presence with three open sides in our specialist area, then the All-In-One-Package is just what you need - whether it be 40, 60, 80, or 100 m². This allows you to present your products and services in a cost transparent way akin to a custom stand construction.
